The Team Behind Economics Learning
Economics Learning is run by a small, focused team that combines deep experience in software engineering, market analysis, and competitive gaming. Every member joined because they personally used skin trading tools and saw exactly where existing platforms fell short. We build the features we wish had existed when we started trading ourselves.
Marcus Holt
Co-Founder & CEO
Marcus spent six years building transaction infrastructure for digital goods marketplaces before co-founding Economics Learning. He oversees platform strategy, partnerships, and the overall product roadmap. Outside work he is an active CS2 player with a documented history of competitive tournament participation.
Priya Nair
Lead Backend Engineer
Priya architects the core trade engine and bot network that powers every bulk exchange on Economics Learning. She previously worked on high-frequency data pipelines at a fintech company and applies that same low-latency thinking to skin trading infrastructure. Her systems currently handle over ten thousand inventory reads per hour without performance degradation.
Dmitri Volkov
Market Data Analyst
Dmitri is responsible for the price tracking system, aggregating and reconciling data from multiple Steam-adjacent sources to produce the live values traders see on the platform. He has been analysing the TF2 and CS2 skin economies for over five years and writes the platform's internal market reports. His models underpin the price alert and historical chart features.
Samantha Briggs
Head of Security & Compliance
Samantha designed the fraud detection logic and trade verification workflow that prevents bot abuse and unauthorised account access on Economics Learning. She holds a background in cybersecurity with prior experience protecting digital asset platforms from social engineering and API exploitation. She conducts quarterly penetration tests on the platform's public-facing endpoints.
Leon Fassbender
UI/UX Designer
Leon crafted the dark, information-dense visual language of Economics Learning, balancing aesthetic with the functional density that serious traders require from a dashboard. He researched how experienced traders navigate inventory tools before drawing a single wireframe, conducting interviews with users across all three supported games. Every layout decision on the platform traces back to a specific piece of user feedback he collected.
